A: Convert any standard manual start generator into an autostart generator. This kit will give you access to 2 wire wired and wireless remote cycling of the generator. This is perfect for offgrid applications, solar inverters, remote property management, etc. 

A: We've simplified the process to where we feel just about anyone can tackle it, especially on the WEN TF1450x. It is still very possible to use this same kit for just about every other "dumb" generator on the market, especially if you can access it's wiring diagram (most can be found online by searching the model number)

A: If you follow instructions half hour. If you wing it, maybe an hour. It's really simplied, especially with the external plugs if you don't even want to bother opening the machine. 

A: Any "dumb" generator (without a microcontroller-[small computer]). The list would be extensive. Basically if you can access 6 points it will work. (12v+, 12V-, Start, Stop, 120v Outlet, DC Power Socket)

Q: With the Wireless model, you'll have full ability to drive any automation and schedule set trigger times to suit your needs. We use a shelly uni as our wireless interface. It's a small but mighty transmitter. Ideal for this application for it's simplicity and scalability.

A: As long as the module is connected to wifi or ble you'll be able to toggle it on or off from within the shelly app. Local access does not require internet service.

A: No, this is why it's important that whatever generator you use doesn't have a competing micro controller. As long as it's a typical "dumb" portable generator, this kit should work.

A. There are many ways to now interface with your updated generator. From two wire dry contact autostart connections most solar systems require, to custom solutions using powerful open source platforms like home assistant. This Solutions allows you to streamline multi ecosystem integrations and deployments with ease. Its a versatile platform that allows for infinite customization and expansion. 

A:The kit generally isn't shipped wired to handle diesel generators with glow plugs (albeit the module can handle some). The module its agnostic to traditional Gas and Petrol generators and will work fine on these new Tri-fuel unit. 

A: Identify if your generator wiring diagram. Purchase the conversion kit. Follow the detailed and thoughtfully curated instructions. Enjoy the sense of accomplishment.
